"Set up my insurance options but was told they were going to change my plan against my wishes if I did not sign a decline of uninsured driver coverage. If I said LIABILITY ONLY, why the hell would I want to get covered for an uninsured driver… also made payments monthly and every month they keep adding late fees that should not be on my account. Made 2 payments this month when I told them to bundle it into one and had auto pay set up but they scheduled it after the fees would be added. Accidental or stupidity at its finest, I don’t know."

"We’re sorry to hear that you were frustrated with your experience, but we do want to clarify a few items in your review.
In Texas, insurance companies are required to offer Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage, even when a customer chooses liability-only coverage. If you do not want that coverage, Texas requires that it be declined in writing. Without a signed rejection, we cannot simply remove the coverage based on a verbal request. This is a state requirement, not something our office created or added against your wishes.
Regarding billing, due dates, automatic payment dates, and applicable late fees are established through the billing system and are not fees our individual agency chooses to add. Like many other monthly services, including utilities and cell phone providers, payments received after the required due date may result in additional fees. Setting up AutoPay also does not remove charges that have already been assessed or change amounts that were previously due.
Our office is always happy to explain coverage requirements, billing dates, or help make changes when they are allowed. However, we are required to follow Texas insurance regulations and the billing requirements associated with the policy."
